A new era in applicant and teacher talent assessment is being ushered in thanks to the integration of the Gallup TeacherInsight System with the WinOcular Applicant Tracking Software.  Applicants who meet pre-defined preliminary criteria are automatically routed from the WinOcular Application directly to the Gallup TeacherInsight System.  

The Gallup TeacherInsight System uses the latest technology to present a combination of question items, including:

• Statements that use a 1-5 Likert scale with "strongly disagree" to "strongly agree" response options.

• Multiple-choice items that reveal applicants' attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors.

• Open-ended questions that applicants answer in their own words.

The TeacherInsight interview can be completed in about 40 minutes.  The applicant is then routed back to the WinOcular on-line application.   WinOcular also allows for convenient “stop and start again” options so that applications need not be completed in a single sitting.

The Gallup report, based on the Applicant's responses, and including a score that is predictive of an applicant's potential for teaching success, is then stored in the WinOcular system and can be used to search for the Applicants that best meet the needs and goals of the District.
